Search ends for SC woman who has been missing since last month, police say
UPDATE: Christina Islam has been found safe and in good health more than a week after she was publicly reported missing, the Columbia Police Department said Tuesday night. Information about where and when Islam was found was not available.

A search is underway for a missing South Carolina woman.
Christina Islam was publicly reported missing by the Columbia Police Department on Monday. The 31-year-old has not been seen since last month, police said in a news release.
On July 30, police were told that Islam ran an errand and never returned to her Pendleton Street home, according to the release.
There was no word if Islam was alone when she was last seen. Police did not say if foul play was suspected in Islam’s disappearance, or if she was considered to be in danger.
Islam was last seen wearing black pants with a white shirt and black high-top sneakers, according to police.
Anyone who has seen Islam, or has information about her, is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 888-CRIME-SC or submit an online tip.
