SC has one of the best campgrounds in the US for 2026. Here’s where, why it’s great

A Conway campground has been named one of the top 10 in the nation by Campspot.

The booking company for RV resorts, glamping tents and cozy cabins at more than 230,000 sites listed Sun Outdoors Myrtle Beach.

It is located about 15 miles northwest of Myrtle Beach.

“This resort offers a refreshing escape among the loblolly pines,” Campspot said. “It’s the perfect destination for families who want high-energy fun and travelers looking for a relaxing retreat.”

The campground includes RV sites with concrete pads and upgraded patio furniture, cottages with a full kitchen and tent camping.

It has a 3-story water slide at the Carolina Splash Water Park, a lazy river, and a mini-golf course. The Lowcountry Landing Bistro serves lunch and dinner. There is also an adults-only serenity pool.

Sun Outdoors has campgrounds in 31 states.

The Campspot Awards are based on a review of over 3 million data points, including guest ratings, reservation data and park features.
