Clemson student found dead at Memorial Stadium

A Clemson University student was found dead Tuesday after authorities said he fell from the stands at Memorial Stadium.

The Pickens County Coroner's Office confirmed it was investigating the death of 19-year-old Michael Joseph Aaron of Dekalb County, Georgia.

Deputy Coroner Gary Duncan said the student fell an estimated 120 feet and was found behind the stadium about 8 a.m.

"We don't know yet what happened," Duncan said.

The Coroner's Office, the State Law Enforcement Division and Clemson University police are investigating.
