The warning was in place for Anderson, Greenville and Pickens counties.
"The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, gusty winds of up to 40 mph are still possible with this thunderstorm in Pickens and Anderson counties," comments the NWS Greenville-Spartanburg SC.
The warning is in effect until 5:15 p.m.
