Heat advisory in place for Lowcountry for Wednesday

A heat advisory was released by the NWS Charleston SC on Tuesday at 12:56 p.m. valid for Wednesday between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. The advisory is for Inland Colleton and Inland Jasper as well as Dorchester County.

The NWS informs, "Heat index values of 108 to 112 degrees expected."

"Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses," explains the NWS.

This advisory is in effect until Wednesday at 7 p.m.
