Letters to the editor: Sept. 5

Where is the outcry?

We had a very good message at church recently. Our minister talked about our world being upside down. We call good bad, and we call bad good.

He reminded us of some things that happened recently. We had heard about the man who killed the lion and how upset so many people were over the incident. I don’t think many of us are in favor of going out and killing all the animals.

Then he compared that to the news about Planned Parenthood, about the murder of millions of unborn children and the selling of body parts for money. Where is the outcry?

We see today the most dangerous place for an unborn child is in the mother’s womb. We must pray that God will have mercy on us.

Why take a pledge?

Didn’t the Germans have to “pledge” to the Nazi party?

Didn’t the communists have to “pledge” to the Communist Party, as well?

Why are the Republicans being asked to “pledge?”
