We need respect, not more gun laws
I am not objecting to keeping guns out of the hands of people that don’t have the intelligence to understand what they do, how they are used, or what is a responsible owner. But the problem lies in the people who think they can make that judgment on who can have guns or not.
We have a constitution of the United States that is supposed to limit the government, not limit the people. There is a basic philosophical difference. And that is where the problem lies. It depends on the glasses you are looking through.
What we should do is have a mindset in this country that respect for each other, respect for the law, and personal responsibility above all and not let big government say what we can have. It is a slippery slope to treachery and loss of personal rights. That is why I am and always will be for the Second Amendment.
There is also a real big problem in the world today that life is not sacred, and that is because we have lost our love for each other, have forgotten the Ten Commandments, and don’t give a crap. Nothing to do with the NRA.
