Rock Hill’s Chloe Hudson is The Herald’s athlete of the week

Rock Hill’s Chloe Hudson, a 5-foot-9 sophomore, is The Herald’s athlete of the week.

She scored 38 points, including a school-record 10 3-pointers, to go with 10 rebounds, six steals and one assist in a 76-13 win over Northwestern on Nov. 28.

Hudson also scored 22 points (five 3-pointers) with five rebounds and two steals in a 56-54 victory over Dorman on Nov. 27.

Hudson is averaging 24.2 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.5 steals and 1.8 assists per game for Rock Hill (5-0) this season.

Hudson is getting recruiting interest from Holy Cross, North Greenville University and UNC Wilmington, according to Rock Hill girls’ basketball coach Kennan Orr.
