Nation Ford’s Jackie Knol is The Herald’s high school Athlete of the Week.
The Falcons’ freshman catcher went 1 for 2 at the plate with a grand slam, home run and two walks to lead Nation Ford to a 7-6 win over Dorman on March 8.
Knol was also 3 for 4 at the plate in a 12-0 win at Northwestern on March 4.
Knol is batting .429 with seven RBI for Nation Ford (4-1) this season.
