Notes: Rematch of last year’s state championship won by Dutch Fork, 35-21. Summerville is looking for its 13th state championship in program history and first since 1998. DF is 8-0 all-time against Summerville. Dutch Fork is in its 10th straight state championship game and 13th in 16 seasons under Tom Knotts. The Silver Foxes are looking for their fourth straight state championship and program’s 10th state championship. The 10 titles would tie Knotts with Summerville’s John McKissick and Willie Varner for most football championships in SC history. Knotts also won seven championships while coaching in North Carolina. The win would be Dutch Fork’s 300th in program history.
