Tennessee has signed former Winthrop player Schaquilla Nunn as a graduate transfer, a move that should boost the Lady Volunteers’ frontcourt depth next season.

Nunn missed the 2015-16 season with a broken foot. The 6-foot-3 center averaged 13.7 points, 11.3 rebounds and 3.6 blocks per game for Winthrop in 2014-15. She holds Winthrop career records for rebounds (910) and blocks (279).

In a university release Tuesday announcing the move, Tennessee coach Holly Warlick said Nunn is “a very talented and highly motivated player and one who has a great deal of experience at the college level.”
