Kickoff times, TV channels released for 4 more Clemson football games
Clemson’s 2026 football schedule continues to come into focus.
The ACC on Wednesday announced kickoff times and TV channels for four more Tigers games, including the team’s home opener and ACC opener.
Clemson’s home opener on Saturday, Sept. 12 against Georgia Southern will be a 7:30 p.m. kickoff at Memorial Stadium with ACC Network broadcasting.
The Tigers’ Saturday, Sept. 19 conference opener against Bill Belichick and the UNC Tar Heels the following week will be a noon kickoff on ESPN.
Clemson also received kickoff times and TV channels for its two Friday conference games. The Tigers’ Sept. 25 game at Cal will be a 10:30 p.m. Eastern kickoff on ESPN, and their Nov. 20 game at Duke will be a 7:30 p.m. kickoff on ESPN.
Clemson learned earlier this month its hyped season opener against LSU will be a 7:30 p.m. kickoff on ABC. ESPN’s signature “College GameDay” pregame show will also be on site in Baton Rouge, Lousiana on Saturday, Sept. 5 for Clemson’s first ever visit to Tiger Stadium and Lane Kiffin’s LSU coaching debut.
Dabo Swinney’s Tigers also saw some game date shifts this month. A “flex game” at Syracuse which could’ve been a Friday or Saturday game was confirmed for Saturday, Nov. 7. The road game at Duke was also moved up a day from Saturday, Nov. 21 to Friday, Nov. 20, giving Clemson two Friday ACC road games this year.
The Georgia Southern game marks the third year in a row Clemson has played its home opener under the lights at Memorial Stadium (App State in 2024, LSU in 2025).
The Cal game, which represents Clemson’s first West Coast football game since the ACC expanded to add Cal, SMU and Stanford in 2024, will be the team’s latest East Coast kickoff time in 44 years.
On Nov. 28, 1982, Clemson kicked off against Wake Forest at 1 p.m. local time in Tokyo, Japan, which equated to an 11 p.m. Eastern kickoff.
