Tickets on sale for Winthrop women’s basketball banquet

Tickets are on sale for the 2015 Winthrop Women’s Basketball Awards Reception will be held Monday, March 30, at 6 p.m. in the Richardson Ballroom in the DiGiorgio Campus Center.

For reservations, contact Karen Trunk (803-323-2129, ext. 6224), or Debbie Newsome (803-323-2129, ext. 6223). Tickets cost $15 per person and will include hors d’oeuvres.

Coach Kevin Cook invites Winthrop fans and supporters to join the team for this event and share the highlights and accomplishments of the 2014-15 women’s basketball team. The Eagles accomplished two more firsts since the program became a NCAA Divison I member in 1986. They had their fourth straight winning season, finishing with a 17-13 overall record, and they reached double figure Big South Conference wins for a third straight year with a 13-7 league record.
