The Indian Land Warriors defeated the Cheraw Braves 6-2 in a Region 3-AA contest at Cheraw.

Matt Murray picked up the win for the Warriors. He pitched five and two-thirds innings, allowing only four hits and striking out three.

Mike Webb picked up the save for Indian Land, while Nolan Bolt led the offense for the Warriors with a pair of hits, including a double.


Nation Ford 7, Gaffney 3

Clay Hunt scattered five hits and struck out six in six innings on the mound to lead the Nation Ford Falcons to a 7-3 win over the Gaffney Indians in a Region 3-4A game at Gaffney.

Alex Stennent led the Falcons with a pair of hits.

The Nation Ford Falcons got a complete game from Ashton Irvin and defeated the Gaffney Indians 2-1 in eight innings in a Region 3-4A game at Nation Ford.
