Video: hear from York County Sports Hall of Fame inductees

The York County Sports Hall of Fame inducted its 2017 class Tuesday night. Cookie Massey, Vance Walker, Taylor Barrett Cook and Josh Davis were present at the Baxter Hood Center, while Stephon Gilmore arrived later from New England where he’s just signed as a free agent with the Patriots. Hear from four of the area’s newest Hall of Famers:

Cookie Massey

Multi-sport athlete at Northwestern High School and the University of North Carolina

Vance Walker

Fort Mill High football standout that went on to play at Georgia Tech and is still an active NFL player

Taylor Barrett Cook

A dominant high school golfer at York Comprehensive, Cook played in college at the University of South Carolina

Josh Davis

Another York standout, Davis starred in college football at Marshall
