The Lewisville softball team scored five runs in the fifth inning to erase a three-run deficit and pick up a win over McBee in a Region 3-A game in Richburg, on Tuesday.

Charlie Duncan and Peyton Smith, both of Northwestern, carded rounds of 41 to tie for medalist honors.

Clover 163, Fort Mill 168: The Blue Eagles claimed a win over the Yellow Jackets in a Region 3-4A match at Fort Mill Golf Club.

Clover’s Jake Rowe and Nate Boepple and Fort Mill’s Ryan Seco each turned in rounds of 40 to tie for medalist honors.

Andrew Jackson 143, Indian Land 205, Great Falls 215: Logan Sowell fired a 30 to earn medalist honors and lead the Volunteers to a pair of wins in a non-region match at Kershaw Country Club.

Indian Land - Nick Shaheen 46, Conor Wagner 52, Sadie Noles 52, Josh Blevins 55.

Baseball

Clover 4, Fort Mill 3: The Blue Eagles scored four times in the first two innings and held off a rally by the Yellow Jackets to pick up a win in a Region 3-4A game at Clover.

Jimmy Marcelli picked up the win for Clover, while Clay Helvey took the loss.

Marcelli led the Blue Eagles with a pair of hits and one RBI. Helvey was 2-4 with one run batted in for Fort Mill.

Westminster Catawba 5, Concord (N.C.) First Assembly 4: The Indians won over Concord in a Metro Athletic Conference contest at Concord, N.C.

Triston Thomas picked up the win for Westminster Catawba as the Indians improved to 5-4 on the season. Andrew Dillon picked up the save for the Indians.

Thomas helped his own cause with a pair of hits, including a home run, and he drove in two runs. Jake Early added two hits and drove in two runs for the Indians. Carson Rowland also had a pair of hits and three RBIs.

Girls’ Soccer

St. Joseph’s 3, Indian Land 2: The third-ranked Warriors lost to second-ranked St. Joseph’s in a non-region match at Indian Land.

All of the scoring came in the second half. Brianna Bishop and Katherine Kilroy scored the goals for Indian Land. The Warriors had 11 shots on goal to five for St. Joseph’s.

The loss dropped the Warriors to 8-3-3 on the year.

Nation Ford - Nolan Wood 37, Will Howell 46, Grant Bridges 46, John Moss 47.

York 2-6-1, Nation Ford 1-6.

Softball

Indian Land 2, Chester 1 (8): The Warriors pushed across the winning run in the top of the eighth inning and edged the Cyclones in a non-region contest at Chester.

Kayla Price picked up the win for the Warriors.
