Indian Land 10, Cheraw 7: The Warriors churned 15 hits and defeated the Braves in a Region 4-2A game at Indian Land.

Kayla Price picked up the win, going six innings and striking out six.

Malya Flynn led the Warriors on offense with a pair of hits and she drove in three runs. Daniella Wilson added two hits, including a home run, while Chloe Williams added three hits, including a double.

Alli Yarborough, Gabbie Doyle, and Kendal Swarts each added a pair of hits to the Indian Land attack.

The Warriors improved to 11-5 overall and 5-2 in the region with the win.

Softball

Northwestern 9, Rock Hill 1: Kori Wancheck scattered five hits and led the Trojans to a win over the Bearcats in a Region 3-4A game at Northwestern.

Wancheck improved to 10-3 on the year. She struck out eight.
