High school roundup: Clover softball too much for Rock Hill
The Clover softball team collected 11 hits and took advantage of four Rock Hill errors to top the Bearcats in a Region 3-4A game at Clover on Friday.
Elizabeth Edmunds picked up the win, while Shania Dominigue, Micah Sherwood, and Tiffany Dominique each had two hits to the lead the Clover offensive attack.

Nation Ford 6, Fort Mill 5: Clay Hunt’s two-run home run was the key hit for the Falcons as they picked up a win over the Yellow Jackets in a Region 3-4A game at Nation Ford.
Girls’ Soccer
Indian Land 6, Buford 0: The third-ranked Warriors built a 3-0 lead at intermission and defeated the Yellow Jackets in a Region 4-2A match at Buford.
Brianna Bishop scored two goals to lead the Warriors. Emily Gerdes, Kate Komorous, Katherine Kilroy, and Abby Curry each added one goal for Indian Land.
The Warriors outshot Buford 24-3 and improved to 10-3-3 with the victory. Buford fell to 4-4 with the loss.
Rock Hill 4, York 0: The Bearcats built a 4-0 lead at halftime and went on to a win over the Cougars in a Region 3-4A match at York.
Zheyer Deller scored two goals to lead the Bearcats to the victory.
Fort Mill 1, Northwestern 0: The Yellow Jackets edged the Trojans in a Region 3-4A match at Northwestern.
With the win the Yellow Jackets improved to 6-0 in the region.
