Six locals to play in high school baseball all-star games

Rosters were released for high school baseball summer all-star games on Thursday.

Chester’s Trent Autry and Nation Ford’s Clay Hunt will represent the state when the South Carolina Select team clashes with the North Carolina Select team June 11 and 12 at Coastal Carolina University.

Three locals will play for the North 4A/1A squad in the North-South all-star game, set for June 12 and 13 at the Cal Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach. Evan Sisk (Lewisville), Brandon Fite (Nation Ford) and Eric Taylor (Northwestern) will play against the South 4A/1A team, while Chester’s Josh Alley will play for the North 3A/2A team in the same tournament.
