Fairfield Central (2-1) at Lancaster (2-1)
This is another rivalry contest between two schools less than 25 miles apart. The key for Lancaster will be to make the most of their offensive possessions to keep Fairfield Central’s offense off the field, and make some defensive corrections.
Andrew Jackson (0-2) at Lamar (2-1)
Andrew Jackson needs to win to get some confidence as they get closer to region play. Their offense has put plenty of points on the board, but their defense has struggled. They need to be ready on both sides of the ball for a Lamar team, which is always tough at home.
Lewisville (3-0) at Blacksburg (0-3)
Lewisville has been clicking on all cylinders this season, and they have shown improvement with each game They need to continue that improvement and play with a bit more consistency if they are to get to 4-0. They cannot take this week’s opponent lightly.
Columbia (0-3) at Great Falls (1-2)
Great Falls picked up a win by forfeit last week. They are at home to take on a Columbia team that has had three close losses, including last week to Edisto. A win for Great Falls would get them back to .500 and give them a big lift. Playing at home will help.
Legion Collegiate (1-2) at Christ School (1-1)
Legion Collegiate dropped a close game to Lamar last week. They have shown improvement, and they will need to be ready on both sides of the ball as they take on a traditional powerhouse in 1A.
