After respective losses, South Pointe, Northwestern drop in high school football rankings

South Pointe and Northwestern had respectively occupied the top two spots in the high school football rankings until this week. Both teams fell to defeat last week.

However, in Class 4A there are four Rock Hill region teams listed in this week’s Top 10.

The Northwestern Trojans dropped two places to fourth this week, while the South Pointe Stallions fell four places to the fifth spot. The Catawba Ridge Copperheads and the Indian Land Warriors respectively remained sixth and seventh.

In 2A the Buford Yellow Jackets climbed one notch to fifth. In 1A the Lewisville Lions moved up one spot to fourth.
