Six area teams remain in the Media Top 10 football poll

Six teams from the Rock Hill region are ranked among the high school football media Top 10.

In Class 4A, four area teams are ranked. The Northwestern Trojans remained in the fourth spot, while the Catawba Ridge Copperheads moved up one spot to fifth. The South Pointe Stallions dropped two places to seventh, and the Indian Land Warriors moved up two spots to eighth.

In Class 2A, the Buford Yellow Jackets dropped four places and are ninth this week. The Lewisville Lions moved up one position to fourth in this week’s 1A poll.
