Clover (2-0, 4-3) at Blythewood (2-0, 5-2)
This is a battle for first place in Region 3-5A. Clover has won three in a row and looked impressive in doing it. Blythewood comes into the game with a pair of decisive region victories. Clover’s offense is talented, but the key for a win is their defense. It must contain Blythewood’s explosive offense.

York (0-2, 4-3) at Northwestern (2-0, 6-1)
Northwestern has been impressive all season, but especially in its first two region games. York is reeling from two region losses, and they desperately need a victory to stay in the playoff race.

Indian Land (1-1, 5-2) at South Pointe (1-1, 5-2)
This game will be a battle for positioning in the playoff picture. South Pointe is coming off a win last week, while Indian Land must regroup in a hurry after last week’s loss. Neither team can afford a loss, and that makes this contest very crucial.
Listen: 104.1 FM
Lancaster (0-2, 3-4) at Catawba Ridge (2-0, 7-0)
Catawba Ridge is rolling, while Lancaster comes into the game with three straight losses. Catawba Ridge must continue its efficiency on both sides of the ball. Lancaster played well last week, but they must regroup and put the last three weeks behind them.
Listen: 107.1 FM
Chester (2-0, 5-3) at Emerald (0-1, 4-3)
Chester is tied for the top spot in the region. Chester is coming off a big win while Emerald is reeling from a loss to Woodruff. Chester must not overlook Emerald this week. They need a win to set up a showdown with Clinton next week for the region title.
Listen: 90.3 FM
Andrew Jackson (2-0, 5-2) at Pageland Central (1-1, 4-3)
Andrew Jackson is on a five-game winning streak and gets better every week. Andrew Jackson can stay at least tied for first place in the region with a win. That is plenty of incentive to put together a complete game.
Chesterfield (1-1, 3-3) at Buford (1-1, 6-1)
Buford got back on the winning track last week, while Chesterfield got blown out. Playing at home is a great advantage for Buford, but they must get back to the consistency they had in the early part of the season.
Great Falls (0-2, 2-6) at Lewisville (1-0, 6-1)
This is a rivalry game. Records do not matter. Lewisville is playing well on both sides of the ball, while Great Falls must turn things around quickly. Lewisville can stay in a tie for the top spot in the region with a win. Great Falls needs a win, because a loss almost certainly would end their playoff chances.
