Rock Hill region 4A teams in Media Top 10 will have high-impact games this month

The Rock Hill region has five teams ranked in the Top 10 Media Football Poll. Among that group are three that will have a say this month on how things could shake out in Class 4A.

The Northwestern Trojans are ranked fourth, the Catawba Ridge Copperheads are fifth, and the South Pointe Stallions are seventh. All three area teams stayed in the same spot they had in last week’s poll.

But this is where things get interesting. Northwestern will play South Pointe and Catawba Ridge in the coming weeks. Catawba Ridge already has beaten South Pointe.

In 2A, the Buford Yellow Jackets remained in the ninth position, while in 1A the Lewisville Lions stayed in the fourth spot this week.
