The Bearcats’ junior swam four different personal best times to help Rock Hill to third-place finish at the Region III, 5A swimming championships at Fort Mill Aquatic Center, Oct. 7.
Sandu finished 12th-place in the 500 freestyle (5:51.35), 13th in the 100 backstroke (1:11.27), 10th-place in the 200 medley relay and 11th in 400 freestyle relay at the region meet.
