Fort Mill’s AJ Washington, a 6-foot-3 sophomore, is The Herald’s Athlete of the Week.
The 6-foot-3 sophomore scored 18 points, five rebounds and three assists in a 65-51 win at Marvin Ridge on Jan. 3. Washington also scored 21 points, had nine rebounds and five assists in a 63-45 victory over Lancaster, Jan. 5.
Washington is averaging 15 points and five rebounds for a Fort Mill team (10-6) that has won four straight games.
