Legion Collegiate’s Amelia Williams is The Herald’s high school athlete of the week.
The 5-7 sophomore basketball player scored 18 points, had five rebounds, four assists and one steal in a 60-54 win over Butler on Feb. 11.
The next night, Williams scored five points and 12 assists in a 65-48 victory at Porter Ridge.
Williams also scored the 1,000th point of her career this week.
Williams is averaging 10 points, four assists, three rebounds and 2.5 steals per game.
