Rock Hill girls’ basketball player Chloe Hudson is The Herald’s high school athlete of the week.

The 5-9 junior scored 38 points, making a school-record 11 three-pointers, to go with 10 rebounds in a 62-59 double-overtime win over Clover in the second round of the 5A Division I state playoffs on Feb. 21.

Hudson also scored 25 points, had 12 rebounds, two assists and two steals in a 74-57 win over River Bluff in the first round of the playoffs on Feb. 18.

Hudson is averaging 18.2 points, 6.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.7 steals per game for Rock Hill (20-6) this season.

Hudson leads the state with 95 three-pointers this season.
