High school softball/baseball playoffs underway Wednesday
The South Carolina high school baseball and softball postseasons get underway Wednesday night. Fifteen local schools are participating, including defending 4A softball state champs, Clover, who claimed the No. 2 seed out of Region 3-4A.
Fort Mill won that region’s softball crown and hosting rights in the first round, and through the district should the Yellow Jackets keep winning. The winner of Fort Mill-Laurens will play the winner of Dutch Fork and Boiling Springs in the second round.
