Nine players from five schools win Tri-County players of the week awards
4A, 5A schools
Offensive player of the week: Dustin Noller, Northwestern - sophomore QB was 24-of-32 passing for 329 yards and five touchdowns during the Trojans’ 45-0 win over South Meck. Noller also ran for a touchdown.
Nominated: Scott Robinson Jr., South Pointe; Ethan Mitchell, York; Garrett Miller, Clover.
Defensive player of the week: Seth Wood, York - linebacker notched 14 tackles, including two for a loss, a quarterback pressure and a key third down stop during the Cougars’ win over Union County last Thursday.
Nominated: B.J. Davis, South Pointe; Hayden Johnson, Clover.
Offensive lineman of the week: Ronin Costanzo, Fort Mill - Costanzo graded 92 percent during the Yellow Jackets’ win over Lancaster, with three knockdown blocks and a pancake. Costanzo was perfect in pass protection, too.
Nominated: Cody Thomas, York; Peyton Webster, Clover; Dorian Jamison, South Pointe.
Defensive lineman of the week: J.T. Sanders, York - senior made 12 tackles, with two for a loss, broke up a pass and intercepted another and recorded crucial third and fourth down stops for the Cougars against Union County.
Nominated: Eli Adams, South Pointe; Chance Miller, Northwestern.

Offensive player of the week: Pha’Leak Brown, Chester - junior carried the ball 12 times for 123 yards and a touchdown against Keenan last Wednesday.

Defensive player of the week: Ladarius Foster, Chester - senior linebacker and team captain recorded 11 tackles, with one for a loss, during the Cyclones’ demolition of Keenan. Foster’s defensive player of the week award is his second in a row.

Offensive lineman of the week: Wyatt Tunall, Chester - junior tackle graded 86 percent with four knockdown blocks against Keenan.
Nominated: Qay Simpson, Lewisville.
Defensive lineman of the week: Dalton McKittrick, Andrew Jackson - McKittrick made 10 tackles (seven solos) and a sack during Andrew Jackson’s loss to Providence Day.

Special teams: Jamie Hinson, Andrew Jackson - Hinson returned a blocked field goal 80 yards for a touchdown, returned a pair of punts 10 total yards and two kickoffs 38 total yards during the Vols’ loss to Providence Day.
