High school football game time changes: Chester-Lancaster varsity football game moved to Thursday night

Chester and Lancaster’s Region 3-3A opener has been pushed up to Thursday night, according to both schools’ athletic departments. The two teams’ JV game scheduled for Thursday will be rescheduled to next Monday.

Kickoff for the varsity game Thursday night is 7:30 p.m.

Update (11:14 a.m.) - The Fort Mill Times’ Mac Banks confirms with Fort Mill that the Yellow Jackets’ home game against Clover will be played Friday night at 7:30 p.m.

Update (12:20 p.m.) - Great Falls' game at C.A. Johnson has been moved to 7 p.m. Thursday night down in Columbia.

Update (1:21 p.m.) - South Pointe's game at Union County has been moved to Thursday night, 7 p.m. kickoff.

Update (2 p.m.) - Indian Land at Central has been moved up to Thursday night, 7:30 p.m. kickoff.

Update (2:10 p.m.) - Rock Hill-Gaffney and Northwestern-York varsity games are still scheduled for Friday. The Rock Hill-Gaffney JV game has been canceled because of field conditions, but Northwestern-York JV at District Three Stadium is still on for Thursday night.
