Hawgs of the Week: York’s Victor and Indian Land’s Brigman

Sean Victor, York- first-year varsity player and starter had a monster game during the Cougars’ 42-28 win over Nation Ford. Victor graded 91 percent on his assignments and produced eight knockdown blocks. The 5-foot-11, 220-pound junior left guard helped pave the way for 360 rushing yards in a must-win game for the Cougars.
1A, 2A, 3A schools
Dakota Brigman, Indian Land- three-year starter on the Warriors’ offensive line graded 83 percent with a knockdown and pancake block each during Indian Land’s 28-21 win over North Central last Friday. The Warriors got back on track by doing what they do best, running the ball for 282 yards. Brigman has a 3.5 grade point average, likes to hunt and fish and his active at Immanuel Baptist Church in Waxhaw, N.C., where his father is the preacher.
