Free youth football coaches clinic Thursday night

Rock Hill Parks, Recreation and Tourism is hosting its fourth annual youth football coaches clinic on Thursday night at Sullivan Middle School.

The clinic is free of charge and begins at 6 p.m. with dinner (also free). Coaches from each of the three city high schools will teach position groups for 30-minute sessions, former Northwestern and Lewisville state champion coach Jimmy Wallace will demonstrate the proper technique for tackling and blocking, and there will also be a presentation by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. The clinic should wrap up around 8:30 p.m.
