FORT MILL -- The Charlotte Knights lost their second straight game 7-2 to the Indianapolis Indians at Knights Stadium on Saturday night.
The crowd of 8,169 saw the longest home run hit of the season.
Right fielder Thomas Collaro hit his first Triple-A home run in the fifth inning off Indianapolis starter Michael Tejera. The ball landed on the dirt road that runs behind 50 feet beyond the left field wall.
Indianapolis was leading 3-2 entering the eighth inning. The floodgates were opened when the Indians' Jose Hernandez blasted a bases loaded grand slam to eliminate any hope for a Charlotte comeback.
