The 33 legends interviewed and photographed for the project in person by reporter Scott Fowler and visual journalist Jeff Siner include iconic names like Steph Curry, Roy Williams, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Mike Krzyzewski, Dawn Staley, Jay Bilas, Armanti Edwards, Jeff Gordon, Muggsy Bogues, Danny Ford, George Rogers, Bobby Richardson, Jake Delhomme, Thomas Davis, Greg Olsen, Wesley Walls and Steve Spurrier.

With in-depth interviews about their journeys and rare photographs both new and old, each chapter is unique. The book will be the perfect present for the sports fan in your life.

Book signing set

If you prefer to purchase the book in person, Fowler and Siner will have a book signing at Park Road Books in Charlotte on Dec. 2 from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m.

Also signing copies of the “Sports Legends of the Carolinas” book at that time will be two of the 33 sports legends interviewed in the book — former Charlotte 49ers athletic director Judy Rose and former Davidson basketball coach Bob McKillop.
