The Herald is running a three-story series shining some light on some of the behind the scenes contributors to Winthrop men’s basketball, beginning online Saturday and in print on Sunday.

The first story will look at the Eagles’ 10-year radio play-by-play man Dave Friedman and the intense preparing he does for every broadcast.
