Cinnaholic opens this week in Tega Cay. Here’s what to expect
Something sweet and different will come out of the oven Friday in Tega Cay.
Cinnaholic will have a grand opening in Stonecrest Plaza from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 18 with $2 cinnamon rolls, one per customer.
The 1177 Stonecrest Boulevard site is the fourth Charlotte region location for the Atlanta-based company, and closest this side of Belmont (Gaston County) or Indian Trail (Union County) in North Carolina.
The company offers gourmet cinnamon rolls with a fully plant-based, allergen-free setup.
“Cinnamon rolls have always been one of my favorite desserts, and I fell in love with the Cinnaholic product and concept the first time I stepped foot in a store,” said Fort Mill area store owner Robert Donald.
The store will be open seven days a week. Expected hours are 11 a.m.-8 p.m. weekdays, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Sundays.
The menu offers cinnamon rolls, edible cookie dough, brownies, cookies, baby buns, cinnacakes and soft serve ice cream. The store will have catering for large orders. Food is vegan, and free of dairy, lactose, egg, cholesterol and allergens.
Along with classic cinnamon rolls, options include a cookie monster with cookie dough and chocolate chips with a chocolate sauce, caramel apple pie with pie crumble and caramel, and a take on smores with marshmallow frosting, cookies and chocolate sauce. Specialty and seasonal flavors also will be available.
Cinnaholic has more than 70 locations in the U.S. and Canada with dozens more expected by the end of the year.
