Hot Pockets' New Sweet Treat ‘Looks Delicious,' Fans Say

A classic dessert is being reimagined as a Hot Pocket in a new drop that fans "can't wait" for.

Sweet treats, surprisingly, aren't entirely new to the Nestlé brand of quick grab-and-go snacks. While it's better known for its savory and spicy options, the company previously offered similar pastry-style recipes in 2005 and 2019. However, this does appear to be the first time the product is launching under its "Snack Breaks" branding and with patriotic packaging.

Like so many other brands looking to be part of the nation's 250th anniversary celebrations, Hot Pockets has a sweet treat up its sleeve: new Snack Breaks Gooey Apple Pie treats.

The new Hot Pockets attempt to recreate the fruity hand pie in a more convenient format, and according to an official retailer's description, feature an apple pie filling with apple pieces and a cinnamon-sugar sauce, all wrapped in a cinnamon-sugar-dusted crust.

While the brand has yet to officially announce the item, some eagle-eyed shoppers have already spotted them in the freezer aisle.

"That looks delicious," one fan shared in a comment on Facebook.

"I can't wait buy it," a second wrote on Instagram. "Yummy."

"Too bad I am trying to reduce my back!" a third teased, adding that the new item sounds "yummy!"

"I wish they'd bring back the cinnamon roll ones they used to have!" another cheered. "These look delicious too tho so ill definitely check them out when they hit the shelves near me."

"I tried it a week ago," one more shared, adding, "It's actually not bad at all."

Where Are the New Apple Pie-Flavored Hot Pockets Available?

So far, Hot Pockets Snack Breaks Apple Pie have been spotted in the frozen section of select grocery store retailers, including Publix and FoodLion for about $2 per box (prices may vary). The flavor doesn't appear to be exclusive to any one retailer or region, so we expect them to be found on shelves nationwide, wherever other Hot Pockets varieties are sold in 4-ounce boxes.
