Indian Land is getting an upscale restaurant focused on award-winning wine

Cooper’s Hawk, an upscale restaurant and winery, has plans for a new location in Indian Land.

The company with locations in 16 states lists Indian Land among five “coming soon” locations. It would be the first Cooper’s Hawk in South Carolina. There’s one in Greensboro, North Carolina, and another coming soon location in Cary, North Carolina.

CrossRidge Center in Indian Land teased an upscale casual dining spot with award-winning wines and a Napa-style tasting room on its Facebook page Tuesday that several commenters connected to Cooper’s Hawk.

Cooper’s Hawk locations also include a full-service bar and retail shop, according to its website. There’s a wine of the month program and monthly wine club dinners.

Six Cooper’s Hawk brand wines are award winners, according to the company, including the Cooper’s Hawk Lux Pinot Noir with 30 local, national and international awards over a six-year span.

Cooper’s Hawk describes its menu as contemporary American, scratch made and all paired with wine. Lunch, brunch and dinner options are available. Dine in and carryout options include steak, seafood, chicken, pasta and sandwiches.

CrossRidge is mixed-use retail site on Charlotte Highway. It already has CrossRidge Cafe, Metro Diner, TasteBuds Kitchen and Whataburger. The center lists several restaurants as coming soon, including 521 Noodles, Haraz Coffee, Ilios Crafted Greek, King of Fire, MilkShake Factory and Paris Baguette.
