Where’s the best place to watch basketball in the Rock Hill region? It’s time to vote
It’s March. For many, the month is all about food, the biggest television in sight and enough college basketball to bust even the best of brackets.
But where’s the best spot in the Rock Hill region to catch all that hardwood action?
The Herald wants in on the tournament fun. We’ll put the 16 top sports bars, restaurants, family fun centers — pretty much anywhere folks can gather for food in front of a wall of screens tuned to sports — from across three counties into one bracket. Then you get to vote for your favorite.
This is what we need.
Tell us which York, Lancaster and Chester county spots are your favorites in the survey box above. You also can participate by going to www.heraldonline.com.
Just make sure to include the name of the business and the city or town where we can find it. Vote as often as you like. Vote for as many spots as you like. We’ll use your recommendations to decide which 16 establishments make the Hardwood Hot Spots bracket, and how to seed them.
Then all month long we’ll pit them against one another for your vote. We’ll include information with those polls on area games of interest. When we work our way down to one shining winner, we’ll profile that business and what makes it a great place to watch a game ahead of the men’s and women’s tournament finals.
Maybe you’re a small school fan who knows the perfect place that will have your team on the tube. Maybe you’re a transplant with a favorite bar or restaurant to root on your alma mater. Maybe you know where to find the biggest crowds to cheer on your blue blood university.
Let us know. The call out to pick the top 16 places will end Sunday.
