A new dessert option is on the way to Rock Hill.

Warren Norman Company announced Tuesday the latest tenant planned for The Perch, Ninety’s Milkshake Bar. It’s the second Ninety’s Milkshake Bar. The other is in Charlotte.

The milkshake bar features handcrafted ice cream products from over-the-top custom specialty milkshakes to giant cookie sundaes, according to a release from Warren Norman. The name harkens to the 90s era with products inspired by childhood memories.

The Perch is at the corner of Cherry Road and Oakland Avenue. The 28,000-square-foot renovation of, and addition to, the former Coca-Cola bottling site on Cherry Road already has Hobo’s, Off the Tracks Brewing and Another Broken Egg signed on to locate there.

Buildings should be complete this spring.

The Ninety’s Milkshake Bar announcement comes just after the opening of Dreamery Creamery in Lake Wylie, another custom ice cream shop. Spots like Two Scoops and Bajo Cero San Marcos are other recent additions to the ice cream scene in the Rock Hill area.
