Here are the biggest sales in three counties, including Rock Hill, Fort Mill, more

Chester County

A mix of commercial and residential properties across York, Lancaster and Chester counties sold for high dollar in June, at more than $60 million combines.

Those sales, at $1 million and up each, include space in Rock Hill, Fort Mill, Tega Cay and Lake Wylie. They also include Indian Land and Chester.

Here’s a look, according to county land records, at the $1 million or more sales from June:

Six residential properties on Dam Road and Our Place Drive in the Tega Cay area sold June 24 for almost $8.4 million. The properties combine for about 55 acres between Dam Road and Stonecrest Boulevard. Carolina Opportunity Fund out of Charlotte bought the properties. They’re south of the Walmart in the Stonecrest shopping center, in an area where the city has submitted plans for residential and commercial space to replace what once was the Game On sports site.

A once controversial gas station in Fort Mill sold again. More than 2 acres of commercial property at 2020 South Dobys Bridge Road sold June 15 for almost $6.1 million. The 3,800-square-foot convenience store is a 7-Eleven beside Doby’s Bridge Elementary School that, when proposed, sparked outcry from parents at the school. Protests were held and several candidates ran for public office on the issue of the town allowing a gas station so close to the school.

Cameron DBR Fort Mill bought the site. Records show it previously sold last year for almost $5.6 million and in 2020 for $1.2 million. The 7-Eleven store opened in late 2020.

More than 4 acres at 2180 Cherry Road in Rock Hill sold June 14 for more than $5.1 million. Prep Fitness Rock Hill out of Utah bought the more than 31,000-square-foot fitness center constructed in 2009. A Gold’s Gym is located there on an outparcel in the development anchored by a Publix grocery store.

A Texas company bought the more than 34,000-square-foot Cobb House apartment building in downtown Rock Hill. It sold June 13 for almost $4.6 million. The 366 East Main St. building is between Orange Street and Confederate Avenue. It was built in 1952 and has eight stories. The property sold last fall for more than $3.6 million.

Trimac Chester bought property off I-77 in Chester County on June 22 for more than $4.3 million. The 109-acre site has a small piece of frontage on Lancaster Highway, and sits at the interchange corner where that highway meets the interstate. The property is just north of an touches the Giti Tire facility.

A home on Crowders Creek of Lake Wylie sold June 28 for $3.8 million. The home is off Anchors Bend Cove in the Cooks Cove neighborhood. It sits on a point overlooking the lake. The home sold prior in 2016 for $2 million. Records show the two-story 2009 construction has more than 8,700 gross square feet and 5,500 square feet of finished space. It has a pool, party dock and outdoor kitchen, among other features.

Meritage Homes out of Charlotte bought 40 lots for the Ashe Downs community in Fort Mill. The June 22 sale went through at more than $3.1 million. The property is east of U.S. 21 and north of Regent Parkway.

Red River Exchange out of Fort Mill bought almost 5 acres at 1256 Red River Road in Rock Hill on June 21 for $2.6 million. The property has a more than 21,000-square-foot warehouse built in 1997. The commercial site is north of Springdale and south of Chad Wesley roads, not far from Dave Lyle Boulevard.

Commercial property at 1622 JA Cochran Bypass in Chester County sold June 3 for more than $2.6 million. Cala Properties out of North Carolina sold the property on about 2 acres. The property is near Wilson Street and Belt Road.

LS Real Estate Holdings bought property in Chester County for almost $2 million on June 10. The 42-acre site crosses the southern border of Chester County, east of JE Roberts Road and west of Ashford Road.

Alabama-based Glenwood Falls Apartments II took ownership June 15 of more than 7 acres at 915 Archie St. in Fort Mill. The site near Banks Street has more than 52,000 square feet of townhome space. Properties there were built in 2004. The almost $1.9 million transaction includes office space with the townhome community.

About 90 acres of vacant residential property in Lake Wylie sold June 29 for $1.3 million. MJ Rooster Investments out of York bought the property on the west side of Riddle Mill Road, about halfway between its intersections with S.C. 557 and Stonebridge Lane.

A 4,100-square-foot Fort Mill home on Tatton Hall Road sold June 30 for $1.3 million. It’s in the Springfield subdivision.

Almost a dozen Rock Hill commercial properties sold June 23 for almost $1.3 million. Most of the properties are on Rainey Street, along Anderson Road. The roughly dozen-acre combined sale includes mostly vacant commercial properties. There is a 3,000-square-foot commercial garage at 160 N. Anderson Road and 1,800 square feet of office another another parcel. The listed owners include Right Solution Truck Care out of North Carolina, Amazonia Prime and Redex Logistics.

A Kimbrell Heights Drive home in Lancaster County sold June 7 for more than $1.2 million. The more than 4,000-square-foot Indian Land home was built in 2007.

A Wisteria Meadows residential property in Fort Mill sold June 23 for $1.2 million.

York County acquired a more than 11,000-square-foot office space in Rock Hill on June 27 for $1.2 million. The 236 Northpark Drive address is along the Dave Lyle Boulevard on ramp near Quantz Street.

Thoroughbred Partners out of Charlotte bought 310 acres in the Smyrna area June 13 for almost $1.2 million. The land is listed for farm and timber uses. The adjoining properties on Ore Bank Road almost touch the North Carolina line. They’re west of Spencer and north of Legion roads.

A 2,500-square-foot home on Johnsons Barn Road in Lake Wylie sold June 28 for almost $1.2 million.

A 4,600-square-foot Lancaster County home sold June 2 for almost $1.2 million. The Loire Valley Drive home in Indian Land was built last year.

A 3,500-square-foot home on Chaucer Circle in Fort Mill sold June 9 for $1.1 million.

Almost 32 acres of vacant commercial property at 1533 Galleria Boulevard in Rock Hill sold June 27 for almost $1.1 million. Connecticut-based Riverbend Rock Hill properties is the owner. The site is east of I-77, just south of the Ross Dress for Less site.

A Kendall Trail home in Lancaster County sold June 9 for almost $1.1 million. The 5,600-square-foot Indian Land home was built in 2017.

A 4,000-square-foot home on Penny Royal Avenue in Fort Mill, in the Massey subdivision, sold June 16 for $1 million.

A 2,500-square-foot home on River Point Road in Lake Wylie sold June 14 for $1 million.
