Naf Naf

A new Middle Eastern food option will open in Fort Mill this month.

Naf Naf Middle Eastern Grill will open Nov. 21 at 816 Brayden Parkway, suite, 102 in the Brayden Village Shopping Center. Brayden Village already has Duck Donuts, Super Chix, Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop and other spots.

This spring, a proposal for a new self-serve tap room was submitted to the county for the same building where Naf Naf will be, but it was denied.

The Fort Mill site will be the first Naf Naf in South Carolina. The 2,000-square-foot restaurant will be near Kingsley, Baxter, the Brayden neighborhood and Tega Cay. It will feature customizeable entrees like stuffed pita sandwiches, warm grain bowls, couscous, salads, hummus, Baba Ghanoush, steak, crispy chicken schnitzel. Sauces will be scratch-made.

Company chief marketing officer Nico Nieto said the chicken shawarma and fresh-made falafel are likely to be popular.

The company will hire up to 20 workers for the new location. It’s the 35th Naf Naf site overall. Naf Naf is based in Chicago.
