A new Rock Hill dance studio should open this fall with a ‘storybook’ approach

Warren Norman Company

A new Bella Ballerina dance studio will open in Rock Hill, expected by this fall.

Warren Norman Company announced the new studio will take up almost 1,300 square feet in the Hunter’s Quest II retail building at 1539 Celanese Road. It joins Domino’s Pizza and iRock Fitness in the shopping center. Bella Ballerina also has a Fort Mill location.

Bella Ballerina is a Virginia-based children’s dance studio with a dozen locations in six states. It has dance classes for age 18 months to 10 years that are storybook-themed. It combines music, themes and costumes in its instruction.

“Dance is more than just movement and music,” said company founder Natalie Perkins. “It’s a way for children to express themselves, build confidence and develop social skills.”

Andi Stolting will own the Rock Hill studio.

“We want our students to feel like they are part of the story, not just learning dance steps,” Stolting said. “Our classes are designed to be fun and engaging, and we believe that by incorporating storybook themes and dress-up time, we can create a magical experience that will inspire children to fall in love with dance.”
