One dead days after 3-vehicle York County crash between Rock Hill and York

A driver who was part of a three-vehicle crash June 10 in York County died Tuesday, South Carolina officials said.

The wreck happened June 10 at Eastview Road and S.C. 5 between Rock Hill and York, said Master Trooper Gary Miller of the S.C. Highway Patrol.

The collision involved a dump truck, a Nissan sedan and a Honda sedan, Miller said.

The driver of the Nissan died Tuesday after being taken to a hospital for treatment following the crash, Miller said

On June 10, the driver of the Honda struck the Nissan. The Nissan then hit the dump truck, Miller said.

The crash remains under investigation by the S.C. Department of Public Safety and the York County Coroner’s Office.

The name of the person who died has not been released.
