Driver killed in York County SC rollover crash near Rock Hill, officials say
A driver was killed in a York County crash near Rock Hill when a car rolled over after hitting a ditch, officials said.
Dina Patel, 49, of Rock Hill, died at the scene, said Sabrina Gast, York County Coroner.
The wreck happened Wednesday morning on Meadow Lakes Road, said Master Trooper Gary Miller of the S.C. Highway Patrol.
The site is just outside the Rock Hill city limits south of West Main Street.
The fatality is the 22nd on York County roads in 2022, according to statistics from the S.C. Department of Public Safety.
The crash remains under investigation by the coroner’s office and the public safety department.
