Police have charged a Chester man with homicide by child abuse after the November death of his 2-year-old daughter.
Darryl Quantravis Wilson, 29, identified as the father of Khloe Simone Adams, was arrested Friday by agents with the State Law Enforcement Division after a joint investigation with the Chester Police Department, according to SLED and Chester police.
Khloe, 2, died Nov. 1 after police and emergency crews were called to a home on White Oak Street in Chester. Khloe died at Chester Regional Medical Center, coroner officials said.
Khloe died from “blunt force trauma to her abdomen,” according to the arrest warrant in the case obtained by The Herald.

Eric Williams, Chester police chief, deferred specifics about the investigation to SLED, but confirmed that Wilson had been arrested. Williams said he is “very pleased” that charges were brought after the long investigation.
Wilson remains in the Chester County Detention Center after he was denied bond, jail records show.
Williams said the case does “stick out” because a child died. Williams called the case “very serious.”
Randy Newman, 6th Circuit Solicitor, in Chester for another court case, said he was aware of the charge against Wilson but declined comment.
It is unclear if Wilson has a lawyer.
