Shirtless thief, 2 other men wanted for stealing guns from Lancaster store, cops say

A trio of thieves, including one who was shirtless, stole several guns from a Lancaster store, police said.

The weapons were stolen late Monday from Steele’s Taxes and Guns on S.C. 9 Bypass in Lancaster, said Lancaster Police Department Chief Scott Grant.

All the weapons stolen were handguns, Grant said.

The theft was captured on store surveillance cameras, Grant said, but police have not yet identified or arrested the three men.

One of the men was bare-chested during the crime, police said when releasing photos of the incident. A second suspect wore a bandana over his face, while the third had a shirt over his face to hide his identity, police said.

Anyone with information should call 803-283-3313, or the police department’s anonymous tip line at 803-289-6040.
