Man found by Rock Hill police hiding under mattress gets 7 years prison on drug charges

A man Rock Hill police found hiding under a bed in February after police were searching for him for months was sentenced to seven years in prison Wednesday after pleading guilty to drug charges.

Denzell King, 27, was jailed in February when police were investigating a shooting and found him hiding under a bed.

Charges from that case were dismissed at an earlier hearing, but King admitted Wednesday to charges involving the sale of cocaine near a school or park.
