Fort Mill school leaders name 2020 honor roll teachers of year

Fort Mill school leaders have named the 2020 district honor roll teachers of the year.

The teachers are now in the running for the title of 2020 District Teacher of the Year, according to a release from the district. The winner will be selected at the beginning of the 2020-21 school year.

They are:

  • Jennifer Bailey: Reading and Math Interventionist/Specialist, Pleasant Knoll Elementary
  • Angela Harms: English Language Arts, Gold Hill Middle School
  • Nicole LaFave: English, Catawba Ridge High School
  • Robbie Sluder: Science, Pleasant Knoll Middle School
  • Julie Wells: Lead Teacher, Tega Cay Elementary

“Our Honor Roll teachers truly represent the district’s values and commitment to students, education, and the mission of keeping Children First…Every Day,” Superintendent Chuck Epps said in a prepared statement.
